I loved this story. The characters, the world, the plot the whole thing was beautiful.
Will there be a sequel to the Sword of Kaigen
Not any time soon, sorry. I’ve detailed this elsewhere but there are major world-building problems with the greater universe around that book, which will need a lot of work before I even think about writing more in the same world. Someday, if I get my act together.
Great story, beautifully written. I requested my local library to add this book to their catalogue and they have – now more people can enjoy it. Here’s hoping there will be a sequel 🙂
Any chance the special edition hardcover will ever see another round of printing? I have never regretted anything more than missing out on that Kickstarter, and it makes me so sad to think I’ll never have the chance to own that edition.

Would you be doing another release of a hardcover print?
The first Wraithmarked Creative hardcover and this Page & Wick edition will NOT be getting additional printings, since both were marketed as limited editions. However, I will have news about a new hardcover edition posted to this blog and my newsletter in the next couple days, so stay tuned!
Am i too late to get a special edition of this book now? Any future releases i can look forward to in 2025-2026 blood over brighthaven made me fall in love with m.l. wangs work!
Why only 600. There are people who have only heard of you recently, like me, who would love a copy like Page and Wicks. But I see on ebay its for sale for$1000.!!
That’s absurd! It would seem to me it would be more profitable for you to offer more copies. Am I mistaken?
