by The Sword of Kaigen ebook is available for $2.99 as part of the 2026 SPFBO Finalist sale October 23-26!
Several years ago, I met my first very author friends through Mark Lawrence’s Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (SPFBO), a competition in which 300 indie fantasy books are narrowed down to 10 finalists and then 1 winner by a team of volunteer reviewers.
Since I was a finalist in 2019-2020, I’ve hosted an annual ebook sale including all current and former SPFBO finalists who want to list their books for a discount during the chosen dates. This year, the price range is $0.99-$2.99 per ebook and the sale runs from October 23-26. If you’ve been wanting to pick up some indie fantasy, this might be a good place to start!
